Terry Gene Bollea (August 11, 1953 July 24, 2025), better known by his ring name Hulk Hogan, was an American pro wrestler and actor.

He was best known for his time in World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment, World Championship Wrestling and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. He was a six-time WWF/E Champion and six-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion.

His first match in Japan was in May 1980 for New Japan Pro Wrestling. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by Sylvester Stallone in 2005.[3]

On July 18, 2024 he was a guest speaker at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.[4]

Hogan died on July 24, 2025 at his home in Clearwater, Florida from a heart attack at the age of 71.[5][6][7][8] At the time of his death, he had chronic lymphocytic leukemia and atrial fibrillation.[9]
