Hydrangea, common name Hortensia, is a genus of 70-80 species of flowers. The earliest kinds of hydrangea came from southern and eastern Asia.
The color of the flowers can tell you how much acid is in the soil the plant is growing in. Alkaline soil produce pink flowers. Acidic soil produce blue flowers.
