History and Features

The Hyundai Lavita was introduced in 2001 and it was designed by Pinninfarina. It has a 1.5 (avaliable in South Korea only) 1.6 and 1.8 liter gasoline engines and 1.5 turbo diesel engines with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed automatic transmission It had a first facelift in 2005 and a second facelift in 2008 that was debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in 2008.[7]

Markets

The Hyundai Lavita was sold under that name in South Korea, Europe and Southeast Asia. It was sold as the Matrix in Australia. The MPV was sold as the Hyundai Elantra Lavita, and in Malaysia, it was sold under the Inokom Matrix name.

Discontinuation

The production of the Hyundai Lavita ended in 2010 and it was replaced by the Hyundai ix20.
