iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini are 15th generation of the iPhone, it was released on September 24, 2021. It was announced at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference on September 14, 2021.[4] Tim Cook introduced the iPhone 13 with the new Apple A15 chip and other new features, among the release of IOS 15.[4]

iPhone 13 is almost identical to iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, with the exception of a smaller notch, which were released in October 2020. Later, Apple announced the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max,  which were to be released on September 24, 2021.[4]

iPhone 13 and 13 mini have a 6.1-inch (15 cm) and a 5.4-inch (14 cm) screen.[5] They have a smaller notch than the iPhone 12.

There is a new CPU in the iPhone 13. It's called the Apple A15 Bionic.[5]

The iPhone 13 has 2 cameras arranged diagonally.[5]

In June 2021, a survey conducted by Sellcell found that 18.3% of respondents would refuse to buy a new phone if it carried the name “iPhone 13”, because they consider 13 to be an unlucky number in superstition.[6]
