Kaffrine is a region in the center of Senegal. The regional capital is Kaffrine.
As of the 2013 census, 544,011 people lived there. It has an area of 11,262 km2 (4,348 sq mi).
It was created in 2008.
Départements
There are four départements:
- Birkilane Département
- Kaffrine Département
- Koungheul Département
- Malem Hoddar Département
