The Pantanal cat (Leopardus braccatus or Leopardus colocolo braccatus or Lynchailurus braccatus)[1] is a wild cat that lives in South America.[1][2][3] Scientists say it is related to the pampas cat, and it might be the same species.[4]
This cat has black legs and long, thick fur.[4] It has two subspecies, Leopardus braccatus braccatus and Leopardus braccatus munoai.[2]
This cat lives in grassy places[4] in many parts of South America.[1]
