Marc Quinn

Marc Quinn (born in London, 8 January 1964) is a British contemporary visual artist. His works explores the humans body and nature. They include sculpture, installation, and painting. Quinn uses materials like blood, bread and flowers, marble and stainless steel. The artist was a notable member of the generation of the Young British Artists.

His best known works include Self (started in 1991), a self-portrait made in his own blood and continually renovated, and Alison Lapper Pregnant (2004).
