Marisela Esqueda Hernández (Los Angeles; April 24, 1966), simply known as Marisela, is a Mexican-American singer, actress, and businesswoman. She is also known as "The Iron Lady." She rose to fame in the mid-1980s, and among some of her most famous songs are: "Mi problema," "Enamorada y herida," "Sin él," "Completamente tuya," "Sola con mi soledad," "El chico aquel," and "Tu dama de hierro," which was very well-known in the 1980s. Throughout her career, she has sold more than 41 million records. She is the only Spanish-language singer to have all the tracks from an album in the top 10 of Billboard magazine, in this case, Marisela's debut album Sin él (1984).
