Mitzi Shore (née Saidel; July 25, 1930 – April 11, 2018) was an American comedy club owner. She founded The Comedy Store in Los Angeles in 1972 and became owner two years later. She was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Through the club, she has had a huge influence on the careers of up-and-coming comedians for years.[1]

Mitzi also founded Comedy Channel Inc. in 1982.[2]
Mitzi died of Parkinson's disease on April 11, 2018 in West Hollywood, California at the age of 87.[3]
