Modern Family is an American sitcom on ABC. It is about three different families who are all connected as one extended family. It was nominated for 4 Golden Globe Awards. It was created by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan.

The show stars Ed O'Neill, Sofía Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Sarah Hyland, Nolan Gould, Ariel Winter, Rico Rodriguez and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons.

Story

There are three different nuclear families, who are all part of one well-off, middle-class extended family. They all live in suburban Los Angeles. Jay is the father of Claire and Mitchell and his second wife Gloria has a son from her first marriage called Manny, and a son with Jay called Joe. Claire and her husband Phil have three children, Haley, Alex and Luke. Mitchell and his husband Cameron have a daughter called Lily, whom they adopted from Vietnam.
