Odd Man Out is a 1947 British drama movie directed by Carol Reed and was based on the 1945 novel of the same name by F. L. Green. It stars James Mason, Robert Newton, Cyril Cusack, Kathleen Ryan, William Hartnell, Fay Compton, Maureen Cusack, Elwyn Brook-Jones. It was nominated for an Academy Award in 1948.
