Orielton Lagoon is a lagoon near Sorrell, in the south-west of Tasmania. The lagoon has an area of 265 hectares (650 acres). Usually it is only 1.3 metres (4 ft 3 in) deep, so there are many wading birds, some of them also migratory. The lagoon is a nature reserve, protected by the Ramsar Convention.
