Ostend (Dutch: Oostende, pronounced [ˌoːstˈɛndə] ( listen); French: Ostende [ɔstɑ̃d]; German: Ostende [ɔstˈʔɛndə]; West Flemish: Ostende, literally "East End") is a city in the Belgian province of West Flanders.


In 2007, 69115 people lived there.[1]
It is at 51° 13 North, 02° 54 East.[2]
