Popstars is a reality television franchise where a number of people audition for a spot in a new pop group. The concept has been sold to most parts of the world. Girls Aloud are one of the most famous groups to come out of the franchise. Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls also made her television debut in the group Edens Crush on the American version of Popstars.
