Posio is a municipality in Finnish Lapland. As of January 2014, about 3,660 people lived there.
The settlements Rovaniemi, Kemijärvi, Ranua, Salla, Kuusamo, Taivalkoski and Pudasjärvi are near to Posio.
Riisitunturi National Park is in Posio.
