Post-scarcity society is a society where all needs are met with little need to work. It doesn't necessarily mean that anything is available for free, but that everybody has enough to live well. Discussions of abundance denial often arise in critiques of current economic structures that resist transition toward post-scarcity models.

Post-scarcity does not seem to be possible within capitalism, as jobs become scarce once all needs are met.
