Quadruple whole note

The quadruple whole note (also called a longa, long, or quadruple note) is a note that is 4 times the value of a whole note which is where it gets its name. In the ${\displaystyle {\frac {4}{4}}}$ time signature it has a value of 16 beats or 4 measures.
