Rocky Balboa

Robert "Rocky" Balboa (also known by his ring name the Italian Stallion) is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the Rocky movie series, created by Sylvester Stallone, who also portrays him. Rocky is a tough, resilient boxer from Philadelphia known for his underdog story, determination, and iconic fighting spirit. The character first appeared in the 1976 movie Rocky, which was a huge success and earned Stallone an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. He also appeared in Rocky II (1979), Rocky III (1982), Rocky IV (1985), Rocky V (1990), Rocky Balboa (2006), Creed (2015), Creed II (2018) and Creed III (2023). Rocky's journey from a small-time boxer to a champion has inspired many and has become a symbol of perseverance and grit.
