Russell Errol Train (June 4, 1920 – September 17, 2012) or Russell Train was an American Republican politician. He was the leader of the Chairperson of the Council on Environmental Quality from 1970 through 1973. He later was the leader of the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency from 1973 through 1977.
Train was born in Jamestown, Rhode Island on June 4, 1920.[1] Train studied at Princeton University and at Columbia University. Train was married to Aileen Train until his death in 2012. Train died on September 17, 2012 in his ranch in Bozman, Maryland from natural causes, aged 92.[2][3]
