The desert dormouse (Selevinia betpakdalaensis) is a species of rodent in the dormouse family Gliridae. When it was first found, the species was placed in its own family, the Seleviniidae, but now it is considered to be a dormouse. It is the only species in the genus Selevinia.
It is endemic to Kazakhstan.
