"Smooth Criminal" is a song written by the American singer Michael Jackson, released on November 14, 1988 as the seventh single from his seventh studio album, Bad (1987). It is the theme song of Jackson's 1988 movie Moonwalker and is known for showcasing his signature dance move, the anti-gravity lean. It reached number 1 in the Netherlands, Flanders, and Spain.
On April 10, 2006, it was released again as a single from the Visionary: The Video Singles box-set. It was number 1 in Spain again.
In 2001, Alien Ant Farm released a cover version of the song. It was their first single. It was a number-one hit.
