Social comparison theory is based on the feelings or thoughts of a person who compare their social status ,achievements, happiness ,capability, intelligence and different aspects of live to other people who are living in the society. Main elements of social comparison are: life style, economic status, cultural variations, achievements, goal fulfillment , lack of self esteem and motivation.
