The Chronic is the first studio album from Dr. Dre. Snoop Doggy Dogg performs on the album. The album is named for a slang term for high-grade marijuana. It was released on Dre's Death Row Records. The album included the single "Let Me Ride".
The album got to #3 on the Billboard 200 in the United States. It sold about three million records.
It was released on December 15, 1992.
