To be announced (TBA) is a placeholder term[clarification needed] sometimes used in event planning to show that something scheduled to happen has not been given a fixed date yet. Other versions of the word include to be confirmed (TBC) and to be determined (or discussed, defined, decided, declared or done), commonly shortened as TBD.
