A viral infection (or viral disease, or infectious disease) occurs when a living thing's body is entered in an unwanted way by disease-causing viruses, and able to be caught from others virus particles (virions) attach to and enter susceptible cells.[1]
Structural characteristics
Basic structural features, such as genome type, virion shape and replication site, generally share the same features among virus species inside the same family.
