Vissoie is a village of the district Sierre in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. The village was made in 1905 by splitting from the municipality of Ayer and Grimentz. On 1 January 2009 the former municipalities of Vissoie, Ayer, Chandolin, Grimentz, Saint-Jean and Saint-Luc merged into the new municipality of Anniviers.
