Achern is a city in Western Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is about 18 kilometres southwest of Baden-Baden and 19 kilometres northeast of Offenburg. Achern is the fourth largest city in the county of Ortenau (Ortenaukreis), after Offenburg, Lahr / Black Forest and Kehl.
