She got her first successful role in the 2016 sports biopic M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, even though she just played a minor role in that movie. She later went to act in the 2018 Telugu political drama Bharat Ane Nenu. In 2019, Advani starred in the Hindi romantic drama Kabir Singh and the comedy movie Good Newwz.
