Sulzbach-Rosenberg is a municipality in Amberg-Sulzbach, a district (Landkreis) in the Upper Palatinate. It is situated approximately 14 kilometres northwest of Amberg, and 50 kilometres east of Nuremberg. The town has two parts: Sulzbach in the west, and Rosenberg in the east.
