பிரகத்கதை

பிரகத்கதை (Bṛhatkathā) கிபி 7 அல்லது 8 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில் குணாதித்தியர் எனும் கவிஞர் பைசாச மொழியில் இயற்றிய பெரிய கதைகள் கொண்ட காவிய நூலாகும். தற்போது இந்நூல் கிடைக்கப்பெறவில்லை எனினும், இந்நூலைத் தழுவி கொங்குவேளிர் எனும் சமண முனிவர் தமிழ் மொழியில் பெருங்கதை கதை நூலை இயற்றியுள்ளார்.
