வி. ஸ்ரீராம்

ஸ்ரீராம் வெங்கடகிருஷ்ணன் (Sriram Venkatakrishnan) (பிறப்பு: 22 சூன் 1966), இந்தியப் பத்திரிக்கையாளர், தொழிலபதிபர், இசை வரலாற்று ஆசிரியர் மற்றும் பாரம்பரியங்களைப் போற்றும் ஆர்வலர் ஆவார்.^[1] இவர் தனது பள்ளிக் கல்வியை சென்னை மற்றும் கொல்கத்தாவில் முடித்தார். 1987ல் தில்லி பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் இளநிலை பொறியியல் மற்றும் முதுநிலை வணிக மேலாண்மையில் சந்தை & விளம்பரப் படிப்புகளைப் பயின்றார். தனது குடும்பத் தொழிலான தொழிலக நீரியல் சேமக்கலன்கள் மற்றும் மென்பொருள் நிறுவனத்தில் சேர்வதற்கு முன்னர், சிறீராம் சந்தை மற்றும் விளம்பர நிறுவனங்களில் பணிபுரிந்தார்.^[2] சிறீராம் தற்போது சென்னை மற்றும் அதனைச் சுற்றிய பகுதிகளின் வரலாறுகளை ஆவணப்படுத்திக் கொண்டு வருகிறார்.

சென்னை பாரம்பரிய நடைபயணங்கள்

சென்னை பாரம்பரிய நடைப்பயணத்தின் முன்னோடியான சிறீராம் 1999ம் ஆண்டில் மைலாப்பூரில் முதல் பாரம்பரிய நடைபயணத்தைத் துவக்கி வைத்தார்.^[3] இவரின் சென்னை நடைபயணம் பலரால் கவரப்பட்டதால், மாதாந்திர சென்னை நகர நடைபயணம் மற்றும் சென்னை அருகே உள்ள பல பகுதிகளுக்குப் பரவியது. 2018 முடிய சிறீரம் தனது குழுவினரோடு சென்னை மற்றும் அதனருகில் உள்ள இடங்களில் உள்ள 75 வரலாற்று முக்கியத்துவமான இடங்களுக்கு சுற்றுப்பயணங்களை மேற்கொண்டார்.^[4][5][6]
