蔡僖侯，《史記》作釐侯，姬姓，諱所事，乃周諸侯蔡之第八君。蔡武侯之孫，蔡夷侯之子也。夷侯二十八年薨，子所事即位為蔡僖侯。僖侯三十九年，周幽王為犬戎所殺，周室卑而東徙。僖侯四十八年，薨，子興嗣立，是為共侯。
