黑冠长臂猿属

黑冠长臂猿属（学名：Nomascus）是长臂猿科下的一属。本属原为长臂猿属的一个亚属，而现时本属各物种在当时都被认为只是黑冠长臂猿（Nomascus concolor）。 现时本属包括四种长臂猿。体色一般为黑色，两颊为白色或黄色。主要分布在中国云南到越南南部，海南岛上也有分布。东部黑冠长臂猿是世界上最为濒危的猿类。

Species within Nomascus are characterized by 52 chromosomes. Some species are all-black, some are a lighter beige or peach hue, with a distinct black tuft of crown fur, while others have notable, light-colored cheek “patches”. Nomascus is 特有现象 from 中国南方与北方 (云南省) to southern 越南, and can also be found on 海南省. Every species within this genus are either 濒危物种 or 极危物种; the Eastern black crested gibbon (Nomascus nasutus) has been deemed "the most-critically endangered ape species in the world".^[1]
