第二代格拉夫顿公爵查尔斯·菲茨罗伊

查尔斯·菲茨罗伊（英语：Charles FitzRoy，1683年10月25日—1757年5月6日），第二代格拉夫顿公爵，1720年至1724年担任爱尔兰总督。^[1]

生平

1690年，查尔斯继承了他父亲亨利·菲茨罗伊的头衔，成为格拉夫顿公爵。

他于1721年成为英国枢密院顾问，同年成为嘉德骑士团成员。

1739年，他与贝福德公爵等人一起支持创立伦敦最著名的慈善机构之一：方德林医院（英语：Foundling Hospital）。^[2]

家庭

1713年，查尔斯与亨丽埃塔·索默塞特（Henrietta Somerset）结婚，两人共有2子2女：

1. 乔治（英语：George FitzRoy, Earl of Euston）（1715年—1747年）
2. 奥古斯都（英语：Lord Augustus FitzRoy）（1716年—1741年），首相奥古斯都·菲茨罗伊的父亲
3. 卡罗琳（英语：Caroline Stanhope, Countess of Harrington）（1722年—1784年）
4. 伊莎贝拉（英语：Isabella Seymour-Conway, Countess of Hertford）（1726年—1782年），赫特福德伯爵夫人
