艾玛·多诺霍

艾玛·多诺霍（Emma Donoghue，1969年10月24日—）是一名爱尔兰出生的加拿大女小说家、历史学家和剧作家。其1995年小说 Hood 赢得石墙图书奖^[2]，2000年的 Slammerkin 赢得Ferro-Grumley Award女同性恋文学奖^[3]。她的2010年小说 Room 是一部国际畅销书并入选布克奖最终候选名单^[4]。

生平

1969年她生于爱尔兰都柏林^[5]，是家中8个孩子中最小的^[1]。

获得都柏林大学学院一等文学士学位和剑桥大学英语博士学位。1998年移居加拿大，2004年成为加拿大公民^[5]。

2015年她担任编剧改编自其原著的电影《房间》赢得多伦多影展人民选择奖。
