艾索伦电力公司（英语：Exelon Corporation）是美国一家公共事业控股公司，也是美国目前最大的核电公司。其拥有10座发电厂，每年发电可达到1.8万兆瓦，占美国核电力发电量的20%。它的子公司主要针对住宅、商业、工业和批发顾客从事电力的生产、 购买、 传输、发行和销售。并同时针对住宅、商业和工业顾客从事分配和销售天然气业务。 [2]

历史
艾索伦电力公司成立于2000年10月，由费城电力公司（PECO Energy Company）及Unicom Corporation 两家电力公司合并而成。[3] Unicom 的最早前身为芝加哥爱迪生公司（Chicago Edison Company），1907年与联邦电力（Commonwealth Electric）合并，成为联邦爱迪生公司（Commonwealth Edison Company，ComEd）。后来，联邦爱迪生公司又经数次合并成为 Unicom。[4] 此次合并在 Unicom 的首席执行官John Rowe 的监督下进行。John Rowe 自1998年加入 Unicom，并最终在新组成的艾索伦电力中担任领导角色直至2012年，并为此成为全美国任期最长的能源公司领导层行政人员。[5][3][6]
在 John Rowe 的领导下，艾索伦电力探索过数项合并和并购方案。2005年6月30日，美国能源部辖下的联邦能源管理委员会（Federal Energy Regulatory Commission）批准了 艾索伦电力与来自新泽西州的能源公司，大众服务企业集团（Public Service Enterprise Group Inc.，PSEG）之间的合并。若此合并案成功执行，艾索伦电力将即成为全美国最大的能源企业。[7]不过，两家公司最终由于新泽西州的公益团体，如“新泽西公民行动”（New Jersey Citizen Action），向新泽西州公用事务委员会（NJ Board of Public Utilities）施压而中断了合并案。[8][9] 合并案于新泽西州公用事务委员会下待批了十九个月后，最终艾索伦电力表示“正在打一仗将败的仗”（“fighting a losing battle”）而作罢。[8]
另一项合并案为于2011年4月28日，艾索伦电力宣布以79亿美元并购美国联合能源公司（Constellation Energy）。完成并购后的艾索伦电力公司将拥有34,000兆瓦的发电容量。其中百份之55为核电，百份之24为天然气发电，百份之8为可再生能源包括水力发电，百份之7为燃油发电及百份之6为燃煤发电。[10][11] 合并最终于2012年3月12日完成。[12] 2012年，艾索伦电力宣布取消建造位于德克萨斯州维多利亚的维多利亚县核电站（Victoria County Station）。艾索伦表示有鉴于目前天然气处于较低的价格，站在经济及市场利润的角度，不论现在还是可见将来，建造新的商业核能发电站变得不乎合经济力益及缺乏竞争力。（"Construction of new merchant nuclear power plants in competitive markets uneconomical now and for the foreseeable future"）[13]

2016年12月，伊利诺伊州立法机关投票表决通过立法以确保 Quad Cities 及 Clinton nuclear power plants 两座核电站的持续营运。此两座核电站共占伊利诺伊州内低排放电力中约23%。议案最终获得通过，并成功保存两座核电站得以继续运行之外，亦可保留伊利诺伊州内每年约12亿美元的年度开支。[16] 2016年8月，艾索伦同意从 Entergy Corporation 购买James A. FitzPatrick 核能发电站。[17]而艾索伦此前已于2017年3月31日取得了James A. FitzPatrick 核能发电站的拥有权及营运权。[18]

艾索伦拥有及运行相当数量的使用化石燃料及可再生能源或其他方式发电的设施和发电站，总计发电容量接近12,400兆瓦的发电量。 其使用的燃料或方式包括燃煤、天然气、水力发电、太阳能发电、风力发电、沼气发电、燃油发电等。[14]
