贝利亚斯菊石

贝利亚斯菊石（学名：Berriasella），又名贝里阿斯菊石，是生存在侏罗纪末提通期至白垩纪初贝里亚期海洋中的一属菊石，在该段时期的地层中有广泛的分布^[2]，为此两纪间过渡阶段的代表物种之一，其名称即源自于贝里亚期。它们是繁盛于侏罗纪的旋菊石类之后裔。^[3]其化石被发现于欧洲、中南美和西南亚等地。^[1]

特征

贝利亚斯菊石的壳形较为扁平，壳的侧面有密集排列的弯曲Y形肋条，于腹侧中央不相连，由一浅沟隔开。^[3]
