赤祖父俊一

赤祖父俊一（日语：赤祖父 俊一／あかそふ しゅんいち ^{Akasofu Shun'ichi}，1930年12月4日—），出生于日本长野县佐久市，美国地球物理学家，阿拉斯加费尔班克大学的国际北极研究中心的创建人，并且从1998年成立以来，一直担任董事，直到2007年1月，而在之前从1986年起，他也是地球物理研究所的所长。

背景

赤祖父俊一于1953年和1957年在日本仙台的东北大学获得地球物理学的学士和硕士学位，然后于1961年在阿拉斯加费尔班克大学获得地球物理学的博士学位。他的博士论文架构在极光的研究上，指导教授是西尼·查普曼。从1964年开始，他就是阿拉斯加费尔班克大学的地球物理学教授。
