唐本忠（1957年2月—），中国高分子化学家。香港科技大学化学系讲座教授、香港中文大学（深圳）校长学勤讲座教授兼理工学院院长[1]。生于湖北潜江，籍贯湖南津市市。1982年毕业于华南理工大学高分子科学与工程系。1985年、1988年先后获日本京都大学硕士及博士学位。曾在加拿大多伦多大学从事博士后研究、日本NEOS公司中央研究所任高级研究员。2009年当选中国科学院院士。2013年当选英国皇家化学学会会士。
