《台湾文献丛刊》，年代上自唐、宋、元、明、清，下至日治时期的台湾方志、明郑史料、清代档案、私家著述、私人文集、南明史籍、诗文辑录，以及台湾之历史、地理、风俗、民情、政治、经济、社会、文化、法制等文献资料。[1][2]
沿革
由台湾银行金融研究室（后改名“经济研究室”）周宪文主任，因研究台湾经济，进而邀相关学者汇辑台湾史史料，自民国46年（1957年）8月至民国61年（1972年）12月，约15年集成，计309种、595册，[3][4]除台湾所在图书馆藏之外，美、日、港、英、荷等国公私馆藏史料（手抄本、孤本）亦搜录在内。[5][2]
载体
原32开（开本、纸张尺寸）[6]，经大通书局依据业已绝版的《台湾文献丛刊》放大为25开[7]重印为190册，汉珍数位图书则进行数位化扫瞄保存电子档案。[8]
