单纯疱疹病毒属

单纯疱疹病毒属（学名：Simplexvirus）是疱疹病毒科甲型疱疹病毒亚科的一个属，包含感染人类与其他哺乳动物的病毒。此类病毒感染常会造成皮肤或粘膜的溃疡，少数可造成脑膜炎或脑炎^[1][2]。本属病毒与其他疱疹病毒一样为具有包膜的双股DNA病毒，包膜上有许多糖蛋白可与宿主细胞表面的受体结合造成感染；病毒颗粒为正二十面体，直径约150至200奈米，基因组为不分段的线性DNA，长约15万bp^[1]。
