艾丽斯·沃克

爱丽丝·华克（英语：Alice Walker，1944年2月9日—），美国作家和社会活动家，曾获普立兹小说奖、美国国家图书奖^[1][2][3]，代表作为《紫色姐妹花》，史蒂芬·史匹柏曾将其改编为同名电影。

早期生活

爱丽丝·华克出生于乔治亚州的一个小镇^[4]，有兄弟姊妹八人，她最小。母亲为帮佣^[5]，从小便必须打理家务^[6]。八岁时因哥哥不慎导致右眼失明^[7]。曾任教于加州大学，致力介绍非洲作家，并长期关注民权、妇女运动。

1965年，沃克与犹太民权律师Melvyn Rosenman Leventhal相遇。他们1967年3月17日在纽约市结婚。那年晚些时候夫妇搬迁到密西西比州杰克逊，成为“密西西比第一对合法结婚的跨种族夫妇”。^[8][9]他们受到白人的骚扰和威胁，包括三K党。他们夫妇1969年生了一个女儿Rebecca（英语：Rebecca Walker）。沃克和她的丈夫于1976年离婚。^[10]

90年代中期，沃克与女创作歌手特蕾西·查普曼开始了一段恋情。^[11][12]
