戈德曼

戈德曼^[1]，或称古梅^[2]（英语：Merle Goldman，1931年3月12日—2023年11月16日 ^[3]）是一名美国历史学家、现代中国研究者，曾经长时期担任波士顿大学教授。^[4]

生平

1953年毕业于莎拉·劳伦斯学院，并且在拉德克利夫学院取得其硕士学位。1964年取得哈佛大学历史及远东语言学博士学位，师从史华慈和费正清。在卫斯理学院担任一年的讲师以后，她自1972年起在波士顿大学担任教授超过30年，期间曾经担任《中国季刊》编辑委员会成员、美国驻联合国人权委员会委员等职位。^[5]

2023年11月16日于马萨诸塞州剑桥去世。^[2][6]
