樱庭统（1965年8月5日—），日本作曲家，主要为电子游戏、动画系列、电视剧作曲，亦有独立的前卫摇滚作品[1]。

传记
樱庭统出生于日本秋田县，他和樱庭裕子结婚并生一女樱庭宇。樱庭统以作曲家和前卫既视感摇滚乐队键盘手的身份闯进乐坛，并于1988年发布既视感专辑Baroque in the Future，之后不久乐队解散，樱庭于1990年继续发布了他的独立创作专辑《戏曲音创》。在为电子游戏作曲期间，他大力改编了自己的的音乐作品。随后的1989年，樱庭开始担任日本通讯网路旗下狼组的主作曲。虽然后来狼组人员大量离职，但在合作期间樱庭充分的展现的自己的创作才能。参见以下：
- 1994年，前狼组主任及作曲家宇野雅明担任Camelot的协调员和音响监督，并为索尼、世嘉以及任天堂开发游戏。樱庭统为Camelot的多款游戏（诸如马里奥高尔夫和黄金太阳系列）作曲。
- 1995年，狼组为南梦宫开发了一款具有里程碑意义的游戏——《幻想传说》。本作和传说系列的其他作品都由樱庭统和狼组的真嗣田村负责作曲。（《遗迹传说》例外，由椎名豪作曲）最终余下的狼组成员于2003年并入了南梦宫的传奇系列的开发团队。
- 还是1995年，前狼组总监、制作人Jun Asanuma和《幻想传说》的编剧兼程序员五反田义治组建了由Enix提供资金支持的tri-Ace。樱庭统为包括《星之海洋》与《北欧女神》在内的几乎所有游戏创作音乐。（除了岩垂徳行已谱曲的《凡人物语》，但其中也包括了一些樱庭统精心创作的曲目）。
- 1999年，长期为狼组和tri-Ace进行音乐设计与制作的的成员初芝弘也建立了tri-Crescendo。成立之初的tri-Crescendo是tri-Ace的御用游戏音乐制作者，后从2001年起进入开发领域。担任游戏《霸天开拓史》（南梦宫出版，tri-Crescendo与Monolith Soft合作开发）的总监与主程序师的初芝弘再次邀请樱庭作曲，之后樱庭又担任了续作《霸天开拓史II》及另一款游戏《信赖铃音 ~萧邦之梦~》的作曲工作。
- 2007年，樱庭被选入电子游戏音乐作曲人名单并为《任天堂明星大乱斗X》进行创作。他也改编了前作《任天堂明星大乱斗DX》知名的菜单主旋律，《超级玛利欧兄弟3》的一些音乐。此外，“战斗音乐与BOSS战音乐”也来自他创作的《黄金太阳 开启的封印》与《黄金太阳 失落的时代》两部游戏。
除上所述，樱庭统还通过自己的TEAM Entertainment与其他媒体签约定期合同，该公司成立于1999年，旨在宣传与授权作品给其他艺术家。

现场演出
2003年7月，樱庭统在日本东京举办了一个现场音乐会。他用前卫的摇滚风格诠释了PlayStation游戏《星海游侠2 Second Evolution》和《北欧女神》。这场音乐会上他与贝斯手长谷川淳（Gerard乐队成员）、鼓手俊彦中村搭档组合。需要说的是，这场音乐会被制作到了CD和DVD上；世界各地的樱庭统迷听到DVD没有区域限制的消息后都很高兴。
在他们为音乐会排练的同时，长谷川和中村又协助录制了《星之海洋 直到时间的尽头导演剪辑版》。
次年，他们第三人又举行了另一场音乐会。但演出了《霸天开拓者》的游戏音乐和几首非游戏音乐作品。然而，由于规模较小，这场音乐会未被正式记录。
2006年，为了庆祝tri-Ace的新作《北欧女神2：希尔梅莉亚》的发布而又举办一场新的音乐会。这场音乐会制被作成了CD发行。
音乐风格
樱庭统结合了巴洛克风格、80年代的日本前卫摇滚及自己独特的韵律（萧笛、合唱、男生混响）。他的风格融入了前卫摇滚，剧场交响乐和新世纪音乐。樱庭还在他的作品中加入了即兴爵士乐要素。近年来，他已经朝更多元化的曲风作出努力。
