约翰·托比

约翰·托比（英语：John Tooby，1952年7月26日—）是美国人类学家，帮助心理学家妻子勒达·科斯米德斯一起开拓演化心理学领域。^[1][2]

生平

出生于明尼苏达州圣保罗。1989年获得哈佛大学生物人类学博士学位，现为加利福尼亚大学圣塔芭芭拉分校人类学教授。1992年他与勒达·科斯米德斯、杰罗姆·巴考共同著作《适应的心灵（英语：The Adapted Mind）》。他与勒达·科斯米德斯共同创办和指导演化心理学中心（英语：Center for Evolutionary Psychology）。他目前正在编写一本关于有性生殖和遗传系统演变的书。^[3]
