长尾山雀属

长尾山雀属（学名：Aegithalos）是雀形目长尾山雀科下的一个属。^[2]本属物种多分布于亚洲地区，其中仅北长尾山雀分布于欧洲，目前下属10个物种。^[2][3]

命名历史

本属物种为法国自然学家约翰·赫曼（英语：Johann Hermann）于1804年描述。^[4]其模式种由埃尔曼指定为Pipra europaea，现今为北长尾山雀的亚种之一。^[1]其属名Aegithalos来自于古希腊语αἰγιθαλός（罗马化：aigithalos），该词当时就已被亚里斯多德用以描述数种山雀。^[5]

虽然这个分类群有“山雀”一名，但实质上本属并不属于山雀科，而是独立的长尾山雀科。^[3]属内个别物种的亚种分类较为复杂，有数个种群呈现多系群之情形。^[7]目前本属视不同名录有9或10个物种，取决于侏长尾山雀（英语：Pygmy bushtit）是否属于该属。^[2][7][8][6]
