曾任濟南軍區保衛部副部長、部長。2015年3月，任山東省軍區政治部主任[1]。2017年3月，任山東省軍區副政委兼紀委書記[2]。2018年4月，任中央軍委國防動員部副部長[3]。2021年3月，升任南部戰區副政治委員兼戰區陸軍政治委員[4][5]。同年12月回調中央軍委國防動員部，任國防動員部政治委員。
