奧塔里

奧塔里（拉丁語：Authari；550年代—590年9月5日）是倫巴第王國國王，公元584-590年在位。

生平

奧塔里是克萊夫之子，在克萊夫死後的十年空位期（英語：Rule of the Dukes）中並未繼承王位，任地方公爵。

584年，由於法蘭克王國與東羅馬帝國聯合進攻倫巴第王國，倫巴第人決定推舉奧塔里為國王抵抗外敵。^[1]倫巴第向法蘭克國王希爾德貝特二世納貢求和，奧塔里隨即沿波河反擊，迫使東羅馬及其拉文納總督區接受倫巴第王國政權在亞平寧半島的長期存續。^[2]

奧塔里信仰阿里烏派基督教，並在大體上延續了宗教寬容政策，但他禁止倫巴第人受天主教洗禮，因此受到了教宗額我略一世的譴責。 ^[3]

589年5月15日，奧塔里在維羅納迎娶了巴伐利亞公爵加里博爾德一世（英語：Garibald I of Bavaria）的女兒狄奧多琳達，該政治聯姻維護了兩國對抗法蘭克人的聯盟。^[4]狄奧多琳達是天主教徒。

590年，在位六年後，奧塔里於首都帕維亞被毒殺。倫巴第人同意其遺孀狄奧多琳達留任王后，她與都靈公爵阿吉洛夫成婚，後者繼承倫巴第國王王位。^[5]
