安仁英

安仁英（韓語諺字：안인영，英語：In-Young Ahn），南韓女底棲生物學家（英語：benthic ecologist），既是南韓首位到訪南極的女性，也是首位南極科學考察站亞裔女站長^[2][3][4][5]，安仁英曾任世宗科學基地的站長，目前為韓國極地研究所（英語：Korean Polar Research Institute，簡稱 KOPRI）的首席研究員^[6][7]。

生平

1982年畢業於首爾大學，主修海洋生物學，1990年取得紐約州立大學石溪分校的沿岸海洋學（英語：Coastal Oceanography）博士學位。1991年7月1日，安仁英到韓國極地研究所服務，展開研究^[3]。

1996年至2011年間，安仁英在世宗科學基地負責環境監測計劃（英語：Environmental monitoring），並進行田野調查，以獲得韓國站指定的南極特別保護區（英語：Antarctic Specially Protected Area）（ASPA＃171）所需的科學數據。1997年至2014年間，安仁英在南極條約協商會議（英語：Antarctic Treaty System）上擔任環境保護委員會（英語：Committee for Environmental Protection，簡稱 CEP）的國家代表及聯絡員，直到受命擔任越冬隊的主管（英語：the overwintering officer-in-charge）為止^[8]。2010年5月至2012年6月間，安仁英擔任韓國極地研究所的副主席，亦於2010至2011年間出任韓國海洋學會（英語：Korean Society of Oceanography）的副會長，2014年到2015年擔任韓國婦女科學技術協會聯合會（英語：Korea Federation of Women's Science & Technology Associations）的副會長。2015年，她擔任南韓世宗科學基地第28屆越冬隊的探險行動負責人，也在該基地擔任了約一年的站長。^[6][7]

安仁英現為韓國科技大學（英語：Korea University of Science and Technology）兼任教授，和韓國極地研究所首席研究員；韓國極地研究所為韓國海洋科學與技術研究所（英語：Korea Institute of Ocean Science & Technology，簡稱 KIOST）的一個單位。

研究

安仁英的研究範疇從南極海洋底棲生物學出發，擴及底棲無脊椎動物與南極沿海生態系統監測等領域^[3]，也曾研究過橢圓薄殼蛤（英語：Laternula elliptica）（英語：Laternula elliptica），此為一種南極大陸周圍主要的海洋雙殼類動物。目前的研究有冰川後退對世宗科學基地近海的海洋底棲生物群落之影響。

榮譽與獎項

2001年4月，韓國政府為嘉獎安仁英投身極地研究取得的傑出成就，授與她科學技術獎章^[9]。2008年6月，韓國環境部表揚她對世宗科學基地附近的指定南極特別保護區（ASPA＃171）之貢獻^[10]， 2016年，安仁英因擔任世宗科學基地站長的表現卓越，獲頒韓國總理獎（英語：Prime Minister's award）^[11]。
