甲烷絲菌屬

甲烷絲菌屬（學名：Methanothrix），也稱甲烷發菌屬，為甲烷八疊球菌目甲烷鬃菌科的一屬革蘭氏陰性菌。分離於厭氧消化器。此屬的模式種為宋氏甲烷絲菌(Methanothrix soehngenii)。
